Ukrainian city of Lviv among the top 100 tourist cities in Europe

Lviv, located in western Ukraine, has entered the list of the top 100 tourist cities in Europe, according to the Lviv Tourism Development Center.


London ranks first on the list. As for the first five places, it went to Paris, Berlin, Rome and Madrid.


Lviv "Fast growth in the number of nights for foreign tourists overnight" topped the classification table with a rate of 73.9%.


And in Lviv, on the one hand, the tourist intensity index for the city's single inhabitants was among the first five cities in that it was not crowded with tourists. Therefore, the city has great tourism potential and can receive double numbers of visitors.


Also, the Tourism Development Center announced that Lviv is today one of the priority markets in Germany. As it is noticed that the number of German tourists has grown from one year to the next.


The number of hotels in the city since 2013 has increased by 11.8%. Whereas, this indicator in most European cities constitutes 2.5%.
