Czech rail operator applied to launch trains in Ukraine
Trains are planning to launch them on the Prague-Przemysl-Medica route
Czech rail operator RegioJet to launch trains to Ukraine.
It is said, at the end of last year, RegioJet submitted an application to the Polish Railways Administration to launch trains on the Prague-Przemysl-Medica route (border with Ukraine). Trains from Prague to Mostesca (Lviv region) are scheduled to be launched on June 14, 2020.
A RegioJet spokesman said: "Regarding our plans for the launch of June 2020, which we have already officially presented, we have taken the next step in the path acquisition process as part of the open access procedures in Poland."
He also said that the goal of the carrier is to provide comfortable travel conditions with full service on board trains at a competitive price compared to transporting buses and low-cost airlines.
